Dr David Graham

Dr Dave Graham has been a practicing general Paediatrician in the Waikato for over 25 years, working both in the public sector (he is the Clinical Unit Leader for Child Health) and has been in private practice for most of this time, serving the Waikato and Midland. He spent his childhood in Central Otago (he’s a farm boy), trained at the University of Otago Medical School in Dunedin and Christchurch, with early research interests in genetics and in-hospital paediatrics, and more recently in population child health and health equity, and more than 20 peer-reviewed publications.

Dr Graham practices in all areas of general paediatrics, with a particular focus in respiratory medicine, and in core developmental/behavioural paediatrics. Outside of work, he is father and grandfather to a large family spread across New Zealand, with interests in music and photography.
